Cooling water treatment involves protection from three major potential problems:
- Corrosion
- Scale/deposition
- Biological fouling/health issues
As in all water treatment applications, DuBois is committed to the total systems approach. Water treatment involves as much as 75% mechanical understanding and optimization, with 25% being a chemical polishing step.
With this in mind, DuBois searches for ways to reduce water usage through higher cycles of concentration. This is only possible through effective utilization of external treatment concepts, where appropriate, filtration, proper blowdown control, and, of course, the most effective chemistry and service programs in the industry today.
Safety, Simplicity and Convenience is a way of doing business at DuBois. In many cases, this philosophy can be practiced through application of "All-In-One" technology, or Drum-Free PBB technology. However, certain system design factors, water quality factors, or even operator or engineer preference, preclude this type of program. DuBois maintains a complete line of segregated treatment products to address individual needs of the customer.
