What is RTD?

RTD (Ready-to-Dispense) is a maintenance free, hose-end, eductor based dispensing system, designed to deliver a cost effective way of dispensing chemicals at multiple flow rates with no service needed.  Simply dispose of the unit once it’s empty.

What are the RTD multiple fill rates?

The RTD units will fill at 1.5 GPM in the bottle fill position and up to 4 GPM in the bucket fill position, depending on the water pressure at your particular facility.

What is the operating water pressure for RTD dispensing system?

12 PSI to 85 PSI

What is the spray projection distance of the spray unit?

The spray projection distance is 5’10” on low spray and 16’7” on high spray.  The foam projection distance is 8” on low and 2’ on high.

What is needed to hook up the RTD unit to a water source?

The system is designed to connect with any standard water supply hose.  The unit is shipped with a male quick connect that can be removed.  Once the male quick connect is removed the dispenser can be screwed to any common water supply hose.

Is the RTD dispensing system environmentally friendly?

The system is recyclable and with the use of concentrated and super concentrated formulas, the RTD dispensing system reduces the use of plastics when compared to bulk and RTU packages.

Why do we need backflow prevention in chemical dispensers?

In order to prevent backflow of chemical into the water supply.

What is an air gap eductor?

The flow of water through the eductor causes a suction which in turn draws chemical into the water stream.  There is a physical space – a gap between the manifold that carries the water supply and the point where chemical is injected into the water stream.  Because there is no plumbing that connects the water supply and chemical supply, it’s virtually impossible for chemical to backflow into the water supply.

What is an E-gap eductor?

An E-gap eductor provides backflow prevention through the use of an elastomeric (rubber) sleeve to prevent backflow of chemical into the water supply.  The E-gap is designed to operate like a vented check valve using an elastomeric sleeve that expands to let water pass through to the eductor during activation.  When water is not flowing, the elastomeric sleeve contracts and seals, making it virtually impossible for chemical to backflow into the water supply.
