ClearKlens Bi-Spore

ClearKlens Bi-Spore is an aseptically filled two part system for the creation of chlorine dioxide.  Presented as an Activator and Base solution in 2 x 100ml single shot format.

ClearKlens Bi-Spore is designed for disinfecting hard surfaces and equipment externals in critical Pharmaceutical cleanroom areas.

Chlorine Dioxide

Chlorine dioxide is a broad-spectrum biocide with the advantage that bacteria, fungi and viruses do not build up a natural resistance to it, because of the action by which chlorine dioxide attacks membranes and fundamental cellular processes, mutant strains are not selected.

Sporicidal Efficacy

In order for a disinfectant to claim sporicidal efficacy it must have proven activity.  The European norm for assessing sporicidal activity of a hard surface disinfectant is BS EN 13704 in which there must be a 3 log reduction or greater in 60 minutes.

Studies have shown that in reality once a sporicidal disinfectant is applied to a surface, due to factors such as constant air changes within a cleanroom, it will dry and therefore no longer be active after 5 to 8 minutes.  In practise therefore it is important to prove the efficacy within practical in use contact times.

ClearKlens Bi-Spore is proven to pass BS EN 13704 in 5 minutes contact time thus ensuring you meet sporicidal disinfectant tests at a realistic contact time.
