Battery Recycling

The Batteries and Accumulators (Placing on the Market) Regulations 2008 are now in force in the United Kingdom. This places certain obligations on ‘Diversey produced batteries’ that fall into scope, namely:

Portable batteries:

- Lithium button cells on circuit boards for dosing pump controllers.

- Alkali AA cells supplied in the Good Sense air freshener dispenser.

Industrial batteries:

- Nickel metal hydride batteries used with the Taski Smart, portable vacuum cleaner.

These batteries may be passed on to Diversey Limited, to help fulfil our obligation of recycling.
