How the Management Development Scheme works:
The scheme forms the basis of your first two/three years as a management trainee with the company and comprises three interlinked elements:
• Your placements
• Your training
• Your personal development
From day one, you will build an in-depth understanding of the complexities of providing high quality cleaning products to a wide range of corporate markets.
Your Placements
You will have immediate responsibility, as your placements are real jobs from day one. These placements will take you around the JohnsonDiversey organisation providing a wide view of the business where you will have the opportunity to make an impact from your very first day, contributing to real business decisions.
Your Training
On-the-job training is provided for all management trainees in skills, knowledge and competency development. Regular feedback and performance development planning will keep you on the right track.
Your Personal Development
Our training and development focuses on individual needs by working with each employee to develop a performance plan. You will participate in a series of training courses and development workshops to ensure that you are supported in achieving your own personal development goals.
By participating in the Impact graduate open programme you will gain a breadth of experience by working alongside people from other organisations. The five-day open programme builds confidence and increases self-awareness at an early stage in careers. It comprises of exciting and challenging indoor and outdoor projects, facilitated reviews and powerful feedback.
Some career choices require gaining professional qualifications, such as CIMA for Financial Management. We also support trainees in obtaining chartered engineer status.
Our Selection Process
Our selection procedure has been designed as a two-way process – to enable us to determine your abilities and potential and to enable you to decide if we will be able to fulfil your needs and goals.
The first step is completing the application form. This form has been designed to allow you to present, as far as is possible, a complete picture of your talents, interests and ambitions. In return, we promise that it will be read and evaluated by one of our specially trained assessors.

Our Selection Process at a glance:-

· Application Forms screened
· 2:1 Interview with HR and appropriate Functional Representative
· Final Stage Assessment Centre
· Job Offer
Questions on the application form and during the interview will in part comprise of competency based questions.
Competency based questions require you to demonstrate certain behaviours. When you answer this type of question you need to think about and tell us the:
· Situation or
· Task that confronted you.
· Action you took
· Results/Outcome of your actions.
By answering your questions clearly and in full you will increase your chances of success.
